July 3, 2019 – Science Advances has published results from the first Metaketa round! Check out “Voter Information Campaigns and Political Accountability: Cumulative Findings from a Preregistered Meta-Analysis of Coordinated Trials.”

February 28, 2019 – CPD Postdoctoral Fellow Mathias Poertner will start as an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M in Fall 2019. Congratulations, Mathias!
December 21, 2018 – CPD co-sponsored a one-day conference held on December 21st, 2018 at Ashoka University. We helped bring together scholars with broad interests in democratic representation in India. Papers focused on such topics as variation in representation across levels of government, the sociology and demographic correlates of political responsiveness, the politics of distribution, and the relationship between electoral competition and constituency service.
May 23, 2018 - CPD non-resident Research Associate Natália Bueno’s dissertation was awarded the James G. March Award, a prize given annually by Yale’s Department of Political Science to an “outstanding dissertation in any field of political science.” Congratulations, Natália!
